Meet #1 Results, Ribbons, Team t-shirts, "Friday Fun Day"!

Tigershark Swimmers and parents,

See, attached, our Summer Meet #1 Results.

Our Tigershark swimmers did a nice job today.

If this attachment does not come through, I will, also, have printed meet results at practice. We do not have any Team scoring results supplied on the Meet Results.

Ribbons were not ready right after the meet. We will pick up the ribbons on Thursday afternoon and have the Meet ribbons at practice on Friday morning.

We have plenty of work to do on our fly and breaststroke technique and we hope to have more of our Tigershark swimmers choose to participate in the next four Summer Meets.

***The relays were exciting and I was pleased to see our swimmers race well today.

Most encouraging was to see our 6 & Unders and 8 & Unders breathing every fourth stroke on their freestyle races and stay on their backs to the end of the backstroke races, along with touching with two hands on fly and breaststroke finishes.

We will have our team t-shirts at the pool tomorrow and Friday for pick-up.

Remember, Friday after the meet is "Friday Fun Day", with shorter practices and then some fun games and some small snacks for all the 12 & under kids after practice.
