Timarron Tigershark Parents,

 CISD, the Carroll Aquatic Center and the North Texas Nadadores are now in charge of the Southlake Summer Swim Meets.  Neither I, nor the Director of the Southridge Lakes Summer Team, were directly consulted/involved in the changes that have been made to the Summer Meet format.  Some changes to the meet format include:

1.  Ribbons to Top 16 in each event and relays, but no single age group awards for 7's, 8's, 9's and 10's

2.  No "participation" ribbons, past 16th place, until Meet #5

3.  New Team point system, expanding the number of "scoring" swims

4.  Addition of 100 IM and 100 free

There is now a separate $25 "fee" required to participate in the Summer Swim Meets at the Carroll Aquatic Center.  This is a one-time fee for all five meets, regardless of whether you choose to attend and participate in all five meets.  

***Our Tigershark Swimmers are not required to participate/compete in the Summer Swim Meets.  Those that wish to compete are encouraged to do so and our coaches will be excited to see our Tigershark swimmers race.

While the deadline listed below for registration is June 11th by 1:00 pm, I would encourage those that choose to participate in the Summer Meets, to register by Tuesday June 4th, so we can get a good count on who and how many of our Tigershark swimmers intend to participate in the meets this Summer at the Carroll Aquatic Center.   

Click on the link below to access the Swim Meet Registration with Carroll ISD Athletics.  The actual Registration is the fourth item down the Dragon Ticket page.  This fee is for the swimmer meet registration only.  There is not a spectator/parent fee.

Actual selection of event entries for your swimmer(s) will still take place on the Timarrontigersharks.com website.  I will send out those entry instructions in the next email home to our Timarron Tigershark Team.
