School Year Swim Opportunity

Tigershark Parents and Swimmers,

First, Thanks to all of our swimmers and parents that participated in our Timarron Tigershark Program this Summer. Each of the 18 Summers I have spent with our Tigershark Swimmers at the Bent Creek Pool have been delightful.

It is always my pleasure to see the young Tigershark swimmers each Summer and see them improve and grow in confidence, in and around the pool.

Second, some of our Tigershark Parents may want to see their swimmers continue their swim development in the school year.

I would recommend Coach Diann Bogus and her Dragon Swim Team (DST) Program during the school year. Her Program, at the Carroll Aquatic Center, serves young swimmers from age 6 to 13. It is similar to our own Timarron Tigershark Program.

When next Summer rolls around, if you choose to swim the school year with DST, then you are welcome to stay there for the Summer season, or return to our Timarron Tigershark Program for the Summer of 2024.

***In any event, my hope is that you will continue to enjoy swimming, grow, improve and perhaps become Dragon HS Swimmers for us in the future. There have been a large number of former Tigershark swimmers over the past 18 years, that have started at Timarron and went on to be college swimmers, NISCA HS All-American Swimmers, All-State, All-Region, All-District, Varsity and Junior Varsity Swimmers at Southlake Carroll. Some of them have been our Tigershark Assistant coaches that you love so well!

Watch for two additional USA Competitive Swim Team options that I will forward on to you in the next couple of days.

I have attached our Southlake Carroll Dragon Varsity Meet Schedule for your review if you might like to attend one of our Dragon Swim Meets. The Dragon Hunt on Oct 21st at 10:00 am, at the Carroll Aquatic Center, is a fun meet to watch, as each heat winner gets a "screamin' rubber chicken" as an award for winning their heat.
