Summer Meet #4 Review and Results

Tigershark Swimmers and Parents,

Great Meet today!  Our Parent Volunteers and our Tigershark Assistant coaches did a tremendous job getting our relays set up and to the start, along with getting all of the swimmers, from all of the Teams, to the right lanes and heats for their races.  GREAT Job by all!

Our Tigershark breaststroke and butterfly strokes looked much better today.  Our younger swimmers (age 7-12) must still make sure that they touch the wall with two hands on both breaststroke and butterfly and our 6 & unders must be sure to stay on their back all the way to the wall on backstroke.

We will continue to work on our strokes this Thursday at practice, have a great Friday Fun Day this Friday, and then focus on our technique and racing this coming Monday and Tuesday to prepare for our last Summer swim meet on Wednesday, July 19th.

Important note:   Please meet the Tuesday afternoon deadline for entries, so we can set up our relays properly.  Coach Murphy sets up the relays on Tuesday evening after the entries are closed.

***If you miss the entry deadline of 3:30 pm on Tuesday, July 18th, (we hope you don't miss the Tuesday deadline....) then contact Coach Rachael Ausdenmoore asap (the earlier, the better, prior to 9:30 am on Wednesday morning) to get your late entries done before she runs the entries and prints the "Master" heat sheet.

***Our Final Summer Meet will have medals for 1st, 2nd and 3rd, (including the relays) and ribbons for 4th to 8th.  We hope to have a great turnout for our Final 2023 Summer Meet.  I know some of our swimmers and families will be out of town, but we hope to see EVERYONE that is in town, comes to race at our Final Summer Meet.

See you at the pool,
