Tigershark Parents and Swimmers,

We have really enjoyed the opportunity to get this Summer of swimming at the Timarron Bent Creek Pool up and rolling.

***Remember, the more often your swimmer comes to practice, the more instruction they will receive and the more they will improve in their swimming.

We have our 1st Tigershark Summer Swim Meet coming up on Wednesday, June 14th at the Carroll Aquatic Center

Arrival Time 1:30-1:45 pm

Team Warm-up 2:00 pm

Meet begins 2:35 pm

Expected Meet end time for 6 & under swimmers....3:45 pm

Expected Meet end time for all other swimmers....5:00 pm

Events: 5 & 6 yr olds. 25 free & 25 back

7 & 8's and 9 &10's. 25 free, 25 back, 25 breast & 25 fly. (pick 3 events)

11 & 12's, 13 & 14's, 15 & overs. 50 free, 50 back, 50 breast, 50 fly (pick 3 events)

Entry Instructions: To enter hover over "Swim Meets" and click on "Sign-up Instructions" and follow the instructions and prompts.

ALL five Meets are now OPEN for entries

Entry Deadline: The deadline for each Meet is the Tuesday prior to that meet at 3:00 pm

***However, we hope to get everyone to get their entries in by the preceding weekend (Sunday afternoon before the meet) so we can print out the entries to POST at morning practices on Monday and Tuesday before the meet. Early entries, the weekend before the meet, also give Coach Murphy the chance to get the relay assignments done according to who entered the meet and post them Monday +/or Tuesday mornings at practice.

Three Reasons Coach Murphy coaches the Timarron Tigersharks each Summer:

1. He loves to see our Tigershark Swimmers race and improve

2. The Tigershark Tradition helps build and maintain the Success of our Southlake Carroll HS Swim Team

3. Coach Murphy, his Assistant Coaches and his family, get paid to teach, coach and enjoy our Tigershark Swimmers and their Parents each Summer!

So, while not required, EVERYONE is encouraged to enter the meets so we can see the swimmers race and compete and enjoy their improvement and success this Summer.
