Team T-shirts and Swim Meet Notice

June 4th

Tigersharks Swimmers and Parents,

My wife, Patti, will have team T-shirts ready for distribution tomorrow, Monday June 5th, at 10:00 am. *There are 279 t-shirts to distribute tomorrow, she would be delighted with some parent help. Patti Murphy. 817-235-6412 cell

This Team T-shirt order will only be available to those that registered for Tigersharks by May 15th.

***If you registered after May 15th, (about 30-35 swimmers) then we will hope to do a 2nd order this week, providing D & J still has the screen "imprint" available .

Note: We do have a number of Team t-shirts from previous seasons available in various sizes for those that registered after May 15th. We will still do a 2nd "official" 2023 order with D & J, if possible.

Summer Swim Meets

Our first Summer Swim Meet is Wednesday afternoon, June 14th, at the Carroll Aquatic Center. We will have entry information posted on our Timarrontigersharks.com website by Wednesday of this week. Check your emails on Wednesday afternoon for entry information, entry deadlines etc.

Looking forward to our first swim meet of this 2023 season.

We will continue working on the strokes, add in some starting instruction for everyone, and some turn work for our 11 & over swimmers.

Attention: Parents

In addition, I will be sending out some volunteer request information for our parents, so we can run a smooth and successful meet, BETTER than last year's meets. Our Timarron Tigershark Team (coaches and parents), along with the Southridge Lakes Team (coaches and parents) are FULLY responsible for the administration of our meets this season. Coach Murphy will be the official Starter at the meets, but we will need age group parents, parent timers, awards organizers, and stroke judges. Our coaches and maybe a few parents will help line up the younger swimmers for their races.

***The North Texas Nadadores (NTN) coaches and the Carroll Aquatic Center Administration have chosen to not participate in the Summer League meets this year, after running the Summer League Meets for the last 17 years. We are renting the pool, supplying the volunteer workers and awards for our Wednesday Meets this Summer, and will need the help of our parent volunteers to run some excellent and smooth meets for our young swimmers. Watch for more information coming out by this Wednesday afternoon.
