Tigershark Information for last two weeks

July 9th

Tigershark Swimmers and Parents,

It was great to see so many of our Tigershark Swimmers at the pool on July 4th week.  Our "extra" Wednesday practice day was well attended.  We have continued working on breathing to the side and backstroke with our 5 & 6 yr olds and fly and breast technique with our 7 to 12 yr olds and our middle school swimmers.

We hope to see as many of our Tigershark swimmers, as possible, enter and compete in our last two Summer Meets on Wednesday July 13th and Wednesday July 20th.

Meet entries close on Tuesday July 12th at 3:00 pm for the July 13th meet and entries close at 3:00 pm on Tuesday July 19th for our last meet on July 20th.

***Go to the "SWIM MEET" tab on Timarrontigersharks.com and follow the instructions to enter these last two meets.  We would be excited to see you swim!

IMPORTANT:  We have a practice schedule change for this coming Thursday, July 14th.  Our "Lead" coaches, Coach Murphy and Coach Wallace have Carroll ISD responsibilities at the Carroll Aquatic Center that morning, and Coach Ausdenmoore is out of town on her Summer vacation, so we will not have a Tigershark practice on Thursday morning, July 14th.   However, we will have Friday Fun Day that week.

After our last Summer Meet on Wednesday July 20th, we will have a "thrilling Thursday" the next morning to conclude our 2022 Summer practices.

Finally, our Tigershark Annual "end of season" Team Party will be Friday July 22nd at the Timarron Bent Creek Pool from 5:30-8:00 pm.  We will supply pizza and cake for everyone, but each family will be responsible for their own cold drinks.  Also, please feel free to bring your own beach balls and floats and toys to our Party.

Parents:  Please start collecting your extra coins to donate, as we hope to have a very large bucket of coins for our Annual Tigershark "coin dive" for each of the younger age groups (5&6, 7&8, 9&10 and 11&12)  Each age group will dive separately for coins in the pool.   I believe we had over 30 lbs of coins last year for the swimmers' coin dives.   I could hardly hold up the bucket!!!
