Tigershark Swimmers and Parents,

Our first Meet is next Wednesday, June 16th at the Carroll Aquatic Center.

Warm-up will be at 2:00 pm and the meet will begin at 2:45 pm with the 100 free relays.

***We expect the meets at the Carroll Aquatic Center to be over by 5:00 or 5:15 pm at the latest.  We expect the final meet at Southridge Lakes to begin at 10:00 am and be over by 12:15 or 12:30 pm

5&6 yr olds will swim 25 free and 25 back

7&8 yr olds and 9&10 yr olds may swim up to 3 individual events, choosing from 25 fly, 25 back, 25 breast and 25 free

11&12 yr olds may swim up to 3 individual events, choosing from 50 fly, 50 back, 50 breast and 50 free.

I believe ALL the meets are now "OPEN" for entries and volunteers.

Meet #1   Wed June 16 afternoon at Carroll Aquatic Center

Meet #2    Wed June 23 afternoon at Carroll Aquatic Center

Meet #3    Wed July 9 afternoon at Carroll Aquatic Center

Meet #4     Wed morning (TBA) at the Southridge Lakes Pool

The deadline for each Wednesday Meet is 3:00 pm on the Tuesday afternoon, the day before the meet. We hope to see everyone go online and complete their entries each preceding weekend, so we can post the entries at practice Monday and/or Tuesday morning before each meet.

Important Notice:

As we outlined before, our 13-14's and 15-18's will be holding Time Trials with Coach Murphy and Coach Wallace at the Timarron Bent Creek Pool during practice time on the Fridays following the 12 & under Wednesday meets.  Those races will be in meters, not yards, since the Timarron Bent Creek pool is longer than the pools that our 12 & under swimmers will race in.  We will "post" those Time Trial Results each Monday morning at the Bent Creek Pool, along with sending them home to the Team by email.

So, be sure to enter the meets, so we can see our swimmers race and compete, and we will continue to coach up our swimmers and enjoy their improvement and success this Summer.
