Tigershark Swimmers and Parents,

Nice job this morning at our 14th Annual Tigersharks "Acclimation Day" practice meet at the Carroll Aquatics Center.  We had about 100 of our Tigershark swimmers show up and participate this morning.  Our 6 & unders were a little rough, so our coaches know we have work to do to move them forward and help them improve their technique and gain confidence.  All of our 7-10's and 11& overs did a fine job today.

***Remember, the more often your swimmers come to practice, the more we can help them to improve this Summer.

Our morning practice schedule begins this Monday June 3rd.  Swim practices M-T-Th-F, no practice on Wednesdays. 

Practice times @ Bent Creek Pool

13 & overs  7:15 to 9:15 am, with some dryland exercises at 7:15 am, in the water at 7:30 am

9 yr to 12 yr olds  9:30 to 10:30 am

5 yr to 8 yr olds  10:45 to 11:45 am

Wednesdays are Swim Meet Days at the Carroll Aquatics Center.

Meet #1 Wed June 12  Entries will open Tuesday June 4 at 7:30 am and close Saturday June 8th at 6:30 pm   ***This will give Coach Murphy time to put together our relays before entries are due to the meet host on Monday afternoon.

Meet #2 Wed June 19

Meet #3 Wed June 26

Meet #4 Wed July 10

Meet #5 Championships Wed July 17

To enter the meets:  Go to our Timarrontigersharks.com website and hover over "Swim Meets" for instructions.  You must first login with your login and password, then follow the "swim meets" directions to enter your swimmer in the meet and also volunteer if you are willing.  We ALWAYS need volunteer parents to help organize the younger age groups (5&6's, 7&8's, 9&10's)  on meet day.

We will see everyone on Monday morning for our Summer practices.
