Last two meets and practice schedule

Tigersharks Swimmers and Parents,

Nice job at the Summer-League Meet #3

Our Volunteer Parents are doing a great job lining our swimmers up for their relays. Coach Dru Murphy is doing a fine job with any late entries we might have and our coaches are doing a good job making sure our swimmers get to the correct lanes and heats on time. I am watching the races and working to make adjustments in our practices so we can continue to improve our technique.

The Sea Dragons scored 1040 points and our Tigersharks scored 950 points with Southridge Lakes in the 550 point range. We are within striking range of the Sea Dragons........If we could get most of our swimmers to the last two meets, we might have a chance to catch them!

We have 2 and 1/2 weeks left to this Summer Tigershark season. We will offer regular practices all of next week, M-T-Th-F, at the same times, for each group.

Our last practice is Tuesday July 17th.

If you are in town and not on vacation, come to practice to accelerate to the end of the season.

13 & over 7:30-9:15 am

9-12 yr olds 9:30-10:30 am

5-8 yr olds 10:45-11:45 am

We are averaging about 130 or our 260 Tigersharks swimmers at each meet. We have a number of fine swimmers coming to practice on a regular basis, getting better all the time, that have not gone to any meets. We would love to see as many swimmers as possible come to support our Team in these last two meets! Our goal is to get 160-170 of our Tigersharks to each of these last two meets. So, part of the Summer Swimming experience is to improve your technique and then RACE and compete to see the results of your hard work at the pool. I LOVE to see our swimmers race and compete!

So, if you are in town, and not on vacation during these last two meets, Wednesday July 11th and Wednesday July 18th, then please consider entering the meets and come race for our TEAM!

Our Tigershark's Team Party will be Thursday July 19th at the Bent Creek Pool to celebrate the conclusion of our 2018 Timarron Tigershark's Summer Swim Season.
